leaves
The poor iris have been trying to sprout since December. Thankfully, they don't seem too phased by their wintertime wastes of energy.
(Well, it's still a little early to judge; we'll see how they're doing when they start trying to bloom.)

Nice shot - the green is great - very vibrant.
This is fabulous! So uplifting, too. I like the little dandelion in the corner. The light and transparency is stunning.
is this dp listed yet?
Nikon- That's what caught my attention, too. It's not every day you see a patch of backlit leaves. Or maybe it is. But I thought it was striking.
Zappy- ::bows:: Thank you, ma'am. :)
James- I'm sitting on the fence about listing it. After doing the "unofficial" DP for what, 5 months now?, I know that I just CAN'T produce a GOOD photo every single day. And I kind of want everything on this site to be- well- if not GOOD, at least decently-composed photographs that look good in the 700-pixel format.
So after I run out of "good" daily shots, I may continue with something along the lines of Pod's or Raindog's photoblogs.
But if I KNOW I won't continue the daily trend after a while, I feel guilty registering it as a DP.
Besides, Eric is out of town until May 7, so I couldn't be listed until then anyway.
