I love so much the contrast !
The contrast between the hard straight lines and the fluffy grey clouds is striking.

Fabrizio- Contrast is one of my favorite things. :)
Lincoln- It would probably be even more striking if they were FRIENDLY fluffy clouds. ;)
it looks like it is going to pour really heavily!
have you got your umbrella?
I like the gradations of light in the clouds.
Keropok Man- This was actually the sky AFTER the storms had passed. My umbrella was busy drying off. ;)
Nikon- I hate to admit it, but a lot of that is post-processed. This is exactly what I had in mind when I shot it, though, if that counts for anything...
Josy, I think that counts for a lot. Having a specific idea of what you want and then achieving it is a far cry from (and more advanced than) shooting randomly and lucking into a good result.
I'll bet mgilpin will back me up on this.
Well, the latter is how I usually go about things, so the fact that I'm seeing ideas for final products when I look at my subjects means I'm getting somewhere.
I'd like to think so, anyway. :)
Exactly my point!
