peas that are sweet

sweet pea

At first I thought this was a clover, but apparently sweet peas grow in bunches.
Edit: It's not a sweet pea, it's a crown vetch.

So. I entered my silly little "roots" photo to Macroday's "Bottom" challenge, and, um, I apparently won!

I'd like to thank the Academy...

...Okay, no.

Great close-up - I like the dark green in the background as a frame.
Nice job on the competition - congrats.

I am amazed at the number of "flowers" posted today. And this one has a color almost the exact color of my posted picture of a cleome.

Wishing you the best of both worlds

Nikon- Thanks! I think I had to GIMP the color a bit... you'd be surprised how often greenery photographs as yellow!

John- Well MAYBE I AM! Thanks!

Lincoln- Argh, I know, but I've been posting flower photos almost every day throughout the spring and summer. I really need to stop, but flowers are just so easy and accessible for a daily photo situation!

Dsole- Thanks! And this was taken with my less sophisticated camera! :)
