Red red rose hips.
I confess that this photo is a little outdated; all the leaves seem to have suddenly dropped off the trees in the past week, and my photo collection is having a bit of difficulty keeping up with the times.

Outdated or no, is so beautiful photo!
the image has a lovely painterly quality...
do you ever print these image (your macros)?... or, if so, how well have they turned out?...
Ioanna- Gracious! Thank you!
Mike, California- Once or twice... just a standard 4x6 print. They turn out about the way they look on the computer (if your monitor is calibrated correctly)... but slightly smaller. :)
Speaking of painterly macros, I'm painting one of my macros for my painting class. :D
The print would actually be bigger for me. The image on my screen is less than 5.5 inches wide. Crazy resolution, I tellya.
Oy gevalt, John. How do you read any of the type? I find it rather small at MY resolution!
really... are you going to post it on your illustration/drawing blog?...
Hopefully. But at the moment, it's just an underpainting.
Underpainting... sounds slightly naughty, unless it's thermal underpainting.
Yeah, the text is pretty ridiculous at the default settings, so I have to use abnormally large font sizes.
