in case of emergency

This is the side of one of the Ocean Grove fire stations.

I know that Ocean Grove has more than one fire station (the internet says it has 3, but I've only seen 2)... but I'm not sure WHY there are so many in such a tiny area. My guess is either A) only one is actually active and the others are just pretty remnants of firehouses past, or B) everything in Ocean Grove is made of wood (except this fire station) and would go up in flames in A SPLIT SECOND.
