i saw three ships a-sailing

This is a monument to Christopher Columbus, erected in 1992 (500 years after 1492) right outside what used to be the Ocean Township Public Library (until about 2-4 years ago--the library has since moved about a mile down the road).

...I remember when they were building this memorial. Man I'm getting old.
