As much as I try not to be a "flower person," I can't seem to help myself.

When I was younger, I always tried to get this kind of shot (or, if not THIS kind, at least those big flower macros you always associate with professional photography) with my 1992 no-focus point-shoot-and-wind Fuji DL-7 Plus. I always waited to finish using my roll of film (which took about a year, in most cases, because I was very stingy with my film), paid to have it developed, eagerly pawed through the pictures, and was inevitably crestfallen at the blurry supposed-to-be-flower blobs in my photos.

So all these macro-ish flower shots are really just a little girl's delayed gratification. Ewwww. Forgive me.
