Some people enjoy living on a sandbar. Seriously- the Atlantic Ocean is like 100 feet from this building.
This seems monumentally stupid to me, but I will admit that the view is probably worth the exorbitant rent they must pay.

Looks like a public housing project; I'd hate to pay for the side facing away from the ocean.
I like your tilted "sawtooth" pattern for the roofline.
Very graphic I like this kind of photograph
Nikon- The side facing away from the ocean can probably see the other nearby body of water. (Check out where Monmouth Beach is on this map [http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=457896629&size=o]- east coast, north of Ocean Township.) Besides, I don't think it's that ugly!
Bergson- Thank you! Finally a positive sentiment on this piece of architecture! :) I enjoy anything graphic, too, and I'm glad you associate my photo with that word.
Josy, I checked out the map - it looks like everyone has a water view ( nice map :)
I like the shot, I'm just not crazy about the design of the building.
