I took a walk in suburbia the other day, and I was surprised at how many things were imprinted in the sidewalk by people (presumably residents of suburbia) who, over the years, could not resist the lure of fresh concrete. Mostly, I saw footprints, animal tracks, and names--enough that I considered doing a typology, just from a 20-minute walk. But the imprint you see above didn't fit neatly into a category... what do you think it is? It sure looks like some kind of anteater to me.
Why would someone etch an aardvark into the sidewalk...?

It starts as a duck and ends as a dog. it would make sense to me if is was five years old.
Giant anteater. The markings even are right.
