moon

moonies!

Much like the dumb flower macros I seem to enjoy so much, this is nothing groundbreaking, but it was a good photography exercise. I even hauled out the tripod!

So here is what the moon over Ocean Township looks like.

And special thanks to Shutterday for inspiring me to research how the heck to do this.

Hi, great shot - the blackness makes a great frame for the moon.
Did you zoom & then crop?

Yes. I originally had something with sharpening and level adjustments, so it wasn't quite as obvious... but then I asked "why?" ;)

Clarence- Thank you muchly, Mr. Anonymous Profile. :)

GE- Wow, that is quite an undertaking! Thanks for including me and notifying me!

Nikon- I'm not quite sure I'd call Gerald a "blog god." Maybe a demigod. ;)

Raindog sings in French? That is a terribly tricky language in which to sing! I give you mad props.

Waitaminute- Clarence, you're not anonymous! You're the guy who submitted the moon shot that kicks my moon shot's ass immediately after I submitted mine!

...I think that was English.

should i take the mad props or say that raindog is a huge sterolab fan who can sing along, but gets lost in the translation, but knew enough about the moon in that one line? ... no, wait ... i want the mad props! :)

And so you shall have them! Don't worry, I won't take the mad props away unless you REALLY screw things up.
