Even in this day and age, cell phones don't always cut it.
(This is really in West Long Branch, which is a separate city from Long Branch, but half the time I can't actually tell, so I just call both towns "Long Branch.")

I love it. Interesting angle and effective use of B&W.
Maybe pay phones should be your third specialty (after flowers/weeds and the Great Auditorium).
Stunning!
I was thinking to take a shot like this other day (at night) but our payphone is in the closed box. Well, I could try but after this? It's fantastic, what a great quality.
nice shot, great angle--makes it all interesting
Only YOU could make a photo of a pay phone THIS interesting.
Fantastic composition!
That's the cleanest pay phone I've ever seen :)
John- Oh come on, I've only posted like 3 photos of pay phones.
Ben- Pshaw, go ahead and try! It does involve making a bit of a fool of oneself... I had to squat down, look up, and cock my head/camera at a most peculiar angle, but it's completely doable. :)
Bluechic- Thanks. :)
SPK- No, I think anyone could. I think YOU could. I think you SHOULD.
Nikon- We are a very clean people round these parts.
Josy, you make me laugh! You also make me want to take pictures of pay phones....
